Product creation: through the Mirakl template

Here we will show you how to upload your catalog using the template provided by Mirakl, based on the categories you indicate.

Location: "Catalog" - "Import Products" button

Reminder: Before uploading your catalog, you must request us to enable the product import option. Otherwise, you will not have access to the options shown here.

You will arrive at the "Import Products" screen. Click on "Templates and Documents" on the right panel.

A bar will appear on the right side explaining the option you just clicked, and you will press the "Generate Product Template" button.

In the next window, the platform will let you choose the type of template to download. In this case, click on "Products".

In the section "Select the attribute requirement level", choose the option "All (mandatory, recommended, optional)".

Reminder: To create a catalog we recommend using only the "Products" option, not "Products and offers". Once created, we will notify you and you can then synchronize your items.

In “Select categories” you can type in the search bar or choose the categories you wish to upload. You can add as many as needed, but remember to select the categories that match the products you are uploading. Otherwise, the cataloging department may reject the file.  

Once done, click the blue “Generate Template” button. The screen will update, allowing you to download the file.

When opening the Excel file, in column "A" dropdown, select the category you will use in its corresponding row. Some rows will be highlighted in salmon color, these are the mandatory fields for the selected category. If some turn gray, they cannot be filled in as they are incompatible with that category. The white fields are optional, but whenever the attribute can be completed, do it.

Once the template has been correctly filled in, upload it through the previously mentioned "Import Products" window.

To view the result of the import, go to the main catalog screen. Click the "Catalog" button on the left side panel or use this URL: https://pccomponentes-prod.mirakl.net/mmp/shop/product/import/history?limit=25&sort=dateCreated%2CDESC

From there, you will see all the imports related to the process by clicking the "View Details" button on the right side of the page. If the import had any errors, you will have the option to download its corresponding report in this same section.
