If you have refurbished items, you can sync them to your catalog and put them up for sale. Below, we explain how to do it correctly.
A refurbished item is one that comes from a return or has been repaired to restore its functionality. In some cases, the product's condition can be almost the same as a new one.
In our Marketplace, you can upload your refurbished items using three defined conditions, which we explain below:
| Like New | Very Good | Functional | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warranty | 3 years | 2 years | 1 year |
| Packaging | Original or generic (original in most cases). | Original or generic. | Original or generic. |
| Overall condition | Like new | May have small signs of use | May have defects or scratches that do not affect proper functioning. |
| Accessories | Has its original accessories. | Includes necessary accessories (original or compatible). | May not contain some accessories that are not essential for its functioning. |
| Important: Smartphones synced as "Very Good" or "Functional" must have at least 80% of their battery life remaining. |
You can use the "Offer description" field that you will find both in manual synchronization and in file upload.
This field allows you to clearly state the exact condition of the refurbished item you are going to sell, which helps prevent incidents and improves customer experience.
Useful examples:
- Item in perfect condition. From display. Slightly damaged packaging.
- Item from a return. Does not include charger.
- Item from a return. Small 2mm scratch on the top left corner.
| Important: If you operate under the special scheme for used goods (REBU), we recommend stating it clearly in the description so the customer knows the item does not include VAT. |
To list a refurbished item, you just need to modify the "Offer condition" field.
| State | New |
Like New |
Very Good | Functional |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Code | 11 | 1 | 2 | 3 |
Whether you use manual upload, CSV file, or API, you will need to enter the corresponding code for the chosen refurbished condition.
| Important: If the product already exists in our catalog, you must sync your offer on that item by modifying the condition as indicated. If the product does not exist, you must create it first, like any other product, regardless of its condition. |
