From the PcComponentes Marketplace platform, we reaffirm our commitment to complying with the highest standards regarding waste management and the financing of collection and recycling systems established by current regulations:
Packaging and packaging waste: Directive (EU) 2018/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 amending Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE): Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012 on waste electrical and electronic equipment.
Batteries and Accumulators: Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 July 2023 on batteries and waste batteries, amending Directive 2008/98/EC and Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 and repealing Directive 2006/66/EC.
Registration of the producer identifier in Mirakl
In order to ensure traceability and compliance with current regulations, all Sellers must register in the Mirakl platform the product identification number assigned by the corresponding authorized compliance organization in each country where they market products.
The identifier will be required as a mandatory condition to continue operating in the marketplace with products subject to the above-mentioned regulations.
The European Union’s waste management regulations are mandatory for all sellers placing products on the Union market, without exception and regardless of their geographical location.
Seller Responsibility
Please note that compliance with environmental and circular economy regulations is the sole responsibility of the Seller, who acts as an economic operator under the applicable European legislation.
The PcComponentes marketplace, in its capacity as an online service provider, is exempt from any liability arising from non-compliance with such legal obligations by sellers, in accordance with Directive 2000/31/EC and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065; without prejudice to the fact that PcComponentes reserves the right to block the Seller’s account when it has actual knowledge, through any channel, of non-compliance with the aforementioned obligations.
