In this guide, you will learn how to upload your catalog using the assistant provided by the Mirakl platform. This tool will allow you to manually map the required attributes, ensuring correct matching between your file and the attributes required by the Marketplace.

| Important: Before you start, you must request the activation of the permission to import products. Otherwise, you will not have access to the options described in this article. |
Before using the assistant, you must prepare an Excel file with the following characteristics:
Format: XLSX or UTF-8 encoded CSV

Include the following mandatory fields:

EAN
MPN
Name
Brand
Category
Description
At least one main image.

Optional fields:
-
Up to 8 additional images.
Logistic attributes such as height, depth, or weight (not mandatory except in exceptional cases). If you do not have reliable logistic data, leave these fields empty.

| Important: The system saves the mappings made. You will not need to repeat them in future uploads, unless you manually delete them. |
Accessing the assistant:
On the import screen, click the right-hand side button "Manual mapping assistant".
In the bar that appears, click "Edit mapping with assistant".
Uploading the file:
In the new window, click "Select a file" or drag and drop the prepared file.
Click "Next step".
Categorization:
- In the "Categorization" section, select the column in your file that contains the product category (we recommend naming it "Category").
- Click "Next step".
Category mapping
In the left panel, you will see your categories.
In the right panel, find the corresponding Marketplace categories and drag yours to them to establish the mapping.
Attribute mapping
- In this step, you must match the required attributes for the category (left column) with the fields in your file (right column).
- It is essential to map the EAN as well as all mandatory fields.
Value mapping
Here you assign the specific values (for example: brand, style, color).
Check that the values (especially brands) already exist in the system. If not, contact your Account Manager to request them.
Use the search tool to make mapping easier.
Attribute rules (not necessary)
This functionality is not used, so you can click directly on "Next step".
Final review and import
On this screen, you will see a summary of the process.
If the system detects possible errors, you will be able to see which products might be rejected.
If everything is correct, click "Import my products".
Monitoring the import
Once the import has been made, a message will appear inviting you to review the status of the process. Click on the blue button: "Product import monitoring".
| Important: Wait a few minutes before checking the result. In case of error, you can access the details in the "View details" tab, where you will find the reason so you can fix it. |
